Seamlessly transition to remote working
Technology has become the lifeline of the world we live in. Where businesses once thought there would be time to ease into digital transformation at their own pace, it has unexpectedly become a critical survival factor.
Fortunately for Kyocera and our partners, we view remote working as an opportunity rather than a challenge. The solutions we have available for distributed workforces – big or small – are not as expensive as people assume and are easy to implement.
Many of our valued Kyocera partners started the digital journey with us several years ago, while others are only considering it now. The good news is that we are here for our business partners. We can help you to make digital transformation a seamless experience for your customers, as we move into a world that is different from the one we have always known.
With employees working from home, this is a great time for organisations to take a step back and review paper-based processes. Enterprise content management (ECM) allows remote staff to access the information they need, produce the content required, and make it available to others. It is more than ever, optimising legacy processes, automating workflows, and ensuring productivity.
Here are some key questions to ask customers that could give you the opportunity to address their current needs:
- What frustrations did they experience during level 5 and 4 lockdown with their workload?
- What were the important things they needed to get done that they weren’t able to do?
- Were they able to track and measure the productivity and accountability of remote workers?
People assume it is complex and expensive to transform, but we have proved the opposite to be true. No matter the size of a business, technology can help to keep overheads low and productivity high.
The key is to keep it simple. Many CIOs and technology leaders are finding themselves in uncharted territory – our role is to help them respond to their business needs and to be a true partner in a time of crisis, making the sudden shift to remote work a seamless experience.
