We welcome Greg Griffith, our new Hardware Product Manager

The management and staff at KDZA welcome Greg Griffith to KYOCERA Document Solutions South Africa as our Hardware Product Manager. He brings with him 22 years of technical experience and background training in IT (MCSE and SCO CUSA).

As a proponent of positive company culture as a means to drive success, Greg joins the team at a crucial time where positivity is key. He aims to help Kyocera retain the number-one market position, as well as to grow its A3 sales and on top of that he is also looking forward to becoming a key member of the team that grows Kyocera’s managed services offering.

Greg started his career in 1998 as a desktop and server technician for EOH in Port Elizabeth, before joining Konica Minolta South Africa from 2002 to 2018. During that time Greg held numerous positions from Software Support Engineer to Digital Specialist, to National Software Services Manager, before being promoted to Product Manager for Business Solutions. Two highlights of his career, was being involved in the first ever customised-integration into SharePoint, as well as in being the architect for (and completing) a remote machine-management application project, which allowed automated call-logging and invoicing, as well as proactive maintenance of their fleet.

From there, Greg moved to nVisionIT where he took up the role of Business Development Manager and was part of a team that created a platform to allow the addition of various bespoke applications to facilitate the remote management of devices for Konica Minolta Europe.

When he’s not playing ‘dad’s taxi’ and carting his two daughters to and from swimming training and galas, Greg will be found on the golf course or on his mountain bike.

We are delighted to have him join the team and look forward to a long and fulfilling relationship.

Michelle Frenzel - Human Resources Manager - KYOCERA Document Solutions South Africa
