Following the theme of reset.forward.together at the recent KDZA partner conference, KDZA’s management team took time to reflect on the things to celebrate and appreciate. It is both rewarding and reassuring to recollect the things that can refresh and reinvigorate energy levels for the last three months of the year:
1. 25th anniversary of KDZA
KDZA was founded on the 17th of November 1997. As KDZA celebrates its 25th year of business in South Africa, the company remains cautiously optimistic and embraces the challenges ahead by understanding the need to continue to adapt to the modern world full of emerging technologies such as robotics, Internet of Things, 5G, Artificial Intelligence and cloud computing. Kyocera stays at the forefront of this technological evolution, learning from every technology breakthrough, and integrating developments into future business strategies in order to strive for excellence.
2. Long standing and successful B-BBEE partnership
2022 sees KDZA celebrate 13 years of partnership with Nozala. The stake sold to Nozala Women Proprietary Ltd not only enhanced the company’s broad-based black economic empowerment (B-BBEE) credentials, but it also brought with it years of support and guidance.
3. Recycle, reduce and reuse programme continues to grow.
KDZA and Carbon Footprint Recycling entered its second year of driving to reduce e-waste, by recycling empty toner cartridges and waste toner bottles. The program is proving successful with 18 companies (44 incl. subsidiaries) participating in the drive since 12 August 2020. How toner waste is treated today is important, both for corporate citizenship and the environment, which is why KDZA continues to encourage businesses to participate in the recycle, reduce and reuse programme.
4. The TASKalfa Pro 15000c opens doors of opportunity
Inkjet technology has made digital printing more competitive than ever and the TASKalfa Pro 15000c has been acknowledged as making significant advancements in the production print industry. A growing number of SA-based companies are learning how the technology is altering the sector and invoicing for the first local installation of the Kyocera's Pro 15000c sheet-fed Inkjet has taken place this month.
5. Service awards 2022 brings a special local flavour
For the first time since the launch of KDZA’s Service awards in 2007, the 15th Annual Service Awards this year will be locally focused. The annual recognition of the company’s best service engineers is something KDZA looks forward to every year. KDZA has achieved multiple global Top 3 spots over the last 15 years, and several wins at the European finals.
6. Kyocera philosophy as a guiding light
KDZA’s management team knows that the future will continue to be full of opportunities and challenges. The continued belief is that with teamwork, and Kyocera’s philosophy as the shared foundation, the company will continue to evolve and prosper.
