Following a two-month hand over, Werner Engelbrecht, General Manager of Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa (KDZA), departed on the 30th of June 2022. Paul Wendlandt, Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa's Service Director, steps into the role of Acting General Manager from 1 July 2022.
Paul has been with the KDZA for 19 years and will ensure business stability and continued improvement. He will be supported by Finance Director - Sadiyah Rasdien, who was appointed to exco at the beginning of this year. Sadiyah has held several positions in the finance division and also has extensive operations experience, making her ideally positioned to play a key role in ensuring business stability and innovation going forward.
Werner joined KDZA in 2006 and has been part of the senior management team since 2008. During Werner’s tenure as General Manager, which started in 2018, the company has received multiple accolades, created successful partnerships, and enjoyed many business successes and he attributes it to the team at KDZA and all our valued partners who have helped Kyocera get to number one in the country.
Together with our regional head office, Kyocera Document Solutions Europe (KDE), Paul, Sadiyah and the management team have been working with Werner to ensure there is a sound transition plan in place that assures business continuity and productivity. KDE’s unified strategy will include working closely with our partners as the company faces the next chapter.
KDZA has successfully come through many changes and storms over the years and the common factor to KDZA remaining on track is in part due to our product and solutions offering and also to the loyalty of our customers and the resilience and hard work of our staff and partners.
The process of selecting a new GM for KDZA is underway and more information will be announced when available.
