KDZA sends another heartfelt thank you to you our partners and staff, for contributing to our status as the leading supplier in the MFP/Copiers segment.
Results from market data specialist InfoSource’s annual research show that Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa has retained its position as number one in mono A4 since 2018 and in colour since 2019. Importantly, Kyocera’s position as a leading supplier of MFP/Copiers has been confirmed yet again by an overall number one position, which has been held since 2019. It is through your hard work and perseverance that we have retained this position and I am humbled by the dedication and determination we have seen during these trying times.
InfoSource again puts us in prime position in the Overall MFP Market, where we achieved 1st place with a 19,47% market share (6422 more devices sold than 2020).
Results were also positive in the A4 mono MFP Market, where we continue to dominate the segment with a healthy 26,67% market share.
In the A4 Colour MFP Market, we again achieved first place, a position we have held since 2018. The high growth in this segment is a result of burgeoning sales of the robust colour A4 range which is poised to further increase market share for us in this segment.
We also performed well in the A3 Mono MFP Market where we placed second and, importantly, grew our market share. And, although we got off to a slow start in 2021, we placed eighth in the A3 Colour MFP Market at the halfway mark and managed to gain traction to achieve fourth place by year end. Lastly, we also saw a overall increase in the Single Function overall market where we finished fourth.
Together we have weathered the challenges of 2020 and 2021, and the good news is that we look set to dominate in 2022 with new product offerings including devices relevant to hybrid working environments and solutions which help customers either start or propel their digitisation process.
Thanks again to everyone for results we can be proud of. Onward and upward!
