How modern production printing gives customers more of what they want

Multiple opportunities exist for ambitious print service providers (PSPs) who know how to grab the exciting, new opportunities being presented in the world of digital production printing. The evolution of printers like Kyocera’s TASKalfa Pro 15000c opens the door to many prospects for both high and low-volume printing. The key lies in thinking beyond the limitations of traditional PSP and giving clients more of what they want, by offering innovative new services that are fast, personalised and fit for purpose.

In keeping with our pledge to continue providing accessible solutions with a view to the unlimited possibilities of print, here are some enticing offerings to aid the future in professional-level printing:

Unparalleled personalisation

Research by Qubit, a leading AI personalisation engine, found that 81% of consumers are willing to switch their loyalty for a more personalised experience. This is confirmed by One Spot, which found that a brand’s average order value increased by 5% when personalised content was included, and conversation rates increased by 6%.

Modern production printers make the production of colour and monochrome quick and efficient, creating an attractive technology for personalised communications and customer’s needs.

Productive applications

Although printing is at the core of many applications, these applications are growing faster than most printers can handle. Not so with Kyocera’s production print solution. Inkjet printers are one of the most productive options available, especially when compared with many toner-based production printers.

Some of these include:

  • Carbon-less paper often used in logistics & transportation
  • Pre-foiled forms
  • Basic window envelopes
  • Inkjet-printed materials such as school applications, forms, etc. which can be written on
  • Wood free paper

Being able to satisfy the above applications (and more) while remaining productive opens you up to more printing applications, now and in the future.

Faster Production Printing

Customisation is an eye-catching element that millennials and younger generations are likely to expect when engaging with printed material. These same generations are used to on-demand solutions, which means that speed is one of their top expectations when dealing with businesses.

Personalisation has a reputation for taking time, but the newer generations of production printers is set to change this. With digital production printers, personalised prints can be carried out faster than with alternative printing options. This means that content personalisation can be automatically completed in a single print job based on variable data input.

PSP is a competitive industry, but by prioritising the speed, customisation and broader applications of a new generation of printers, service providers can open their businesses to a wealth of shorter, same-day orders while still retaining capacity for general orders. This enables the service of more clients and appeals to new niche markets.

And the cherry on the cake?

Modern customers look for sustainable solutions that align with their values and inkjet provides a solution to the growing need for environmentally friendly technologies.

The easiest way of identifying a potential production customer would be based on monthly volumes, type of jobs the customer prints and page coverage. Once you have identified these potential customers, we would gladly assist you by doing a case study, analysis and customer specific proposal that fits each customer’s needs.
