Week 32

Digital Transformation is about innovation, not just operational excellence
Digital Transformation is no longer a new concept. An ever-growing number of companies already depend on digitisation for better customer service and business competitiveness.
What that means for our partners is that we need to look beyond the obvious operational benefits — the cost reductions, the move from capital expenditure to operational expenditure, the freedom from managing infrastructure, and so forth — towards the strategic benefits, as we help our customers digitise and add automation their systems.
The KDZA team and our partners are continuously unlocking new strategic options for clients. These come in many forms ranging from simple capture of documentation to deploying new applications and services to employees, customers, business partners and other end-users.
A great example is how mobile access to documents isn’t simply a way to save costs, it is an opportunity to create new business models.
Our challenge is changing business owner’s assumptions that the process is complicated; that they need the latest and best technology; and that it is just for big corporates with big budgets. Our job is to convince all business owners that for any company that wants to improve, innovate, and adapt to the ever-changing environment, starting on the journey of digital transformation can be as small or as big a step as what is comfortable for them. There is no blueprint. It is about looking at the current business workflows and then finding new ways to improve.
It is exciting to be in our industry and being able to offer companies an infinite range of new ways to run their businesses. As a team, we are no longer just bringing our IT knowledge and experience, but creative thinking, strategic insight, and troubleshooting have opened endless opportunities for all of us.
