Platinum Award for Reliability

Responses were received from enterprise buyers and technical professionals in 47 countries, responsible for managing over 175,000 devices in total. A major difference between these awards and those given by some other analysts is that the Platinum award recognizes the manufacturer, instead of individual products, for overall excellence across the company's product line.


But how does the analyst select the winners and obtain the results? Several thousand seasoned buyers and a great number of hardened service technicians were asked for their feedback and experiences in critical reviews. BERTL asked users to relate their opinions about how different manufacturers handle key issues, like reliability.


According to the analyst, users of Kyocera devices liked the hardiness of the monocomponent system and durable photoconductor drum, as well as the devices’ overall reliability under duress. An IT Manager for a supermarket chain comments, 'I’ve been at this company for five years, and in that time Kyocera’s monochrome devices gave me less grief than (name removed) and (name removed) machines. They just don’t go down. I think it’s because they’re built with more durable parts that don’t need to be changed often like other machines.'
