New Kyocera Mita ranges answer needs across all market sectors

The new ranges update existing products which have achieved great success and acceptance among customers.

COLOUR MULTIFUNCTIONAL PRODUCTS (MFPS)

The new series of (MFPs) from Kyocera MIta now brings A3 colour printing and copying to the medium-sized office. The KM-C2520, KM-C3225 and the flagship KM-C3232 have been designed for use in an office environment with features that combine productivity, efficiency and ease of use.

Powerful processors and a large capacity memory allow several jobs to be processed simultaneously. The office colour MFPs also feature a user-friendly, tilting widescreen touch panel.

To ensure reliability, the KM-C2520 / KM-C3225 / KM-C3232 use the Kyocera dual component toner and manufacturer's own controller. They also offer a variety of finishing options including a 1 000-sheet finisher, a 3 000-sheet finisher, a mailbox, a punch unit or a booklet folder. In addition, Kyocera's long-life components and reliable paper feeding and finishing mechanisms guarantee minimum downtimes.

The KM-C3225 and KM-C3232 print at 32 pages per minute (ppm) in A4 black and white, and 25 and 32ppm in A4 colour respectively. The KM-C2520 has a print speed of 25ppm in A4 black and white and 20ppm in A4 colour,or 10ppm in A3 colour.

NEW ECOSYS PRINTERS

Kyocera Mita has launhced its latest series of A3 ECOSYS printers, offering high-end office printing to departments requiring a wide range of printed material. The FS-9130DN and FS-9530DN printers, which replace Kyocera Mita's existing FS-9120DN and FS-9520DN printers respectively, have a fast print rate, duplex and network capabilities as standard and a number of finishing options.

The finishing options allow users to produce professional-looking documents in-house, including A4 or A5 booklets of up to 64-pages. The stapling and punching finishing functions help to generate brochures or flyers easily.

The FS-9130DN and FS-9530DN deliver print speeds of 40ppm and 51ppm respectively. Other features contributing to the productivity of users include PDF printing directly from USB memory device for easy and secure access. Documents can be stored on a hard disc in the devices for multiple print runs.

Security is also high on the agenda with these printers. Security is available through an optional kit and SSL encryption ensures the utmost in security – an essential for offices allowing shared access.

The Kyocera high-end office printers have the lowest TCO in their class. Cost-saving elements with an environmental focus include Kyocera Mita’s ECOSYS technology – a real cartridgeless design with only the toner to be replaced regularly. Kyocera Mita’s long-life components i.e. drum, with a lifetime of 500 000 printed pages minimise the need for service. The models have a toner capacity of 40 000 pages, resulting in a very low cost per page.

NEW MONOCHROME MFPS

Kyocera Mita has refreshed its range of monochrome A3 MFPs with the launch of the KM-3050, KM-4050 and KM-5050. The range is the successor to the popular KM-3035 / KM-4035 / KM-5035 series and offers the same reliable Kyocera Mita engine, but with enhanced features such as faster scan speeds and a larger memory. Each of the three models is a true MFP, with print, copy and colour scan as standard, as well as optional fax. Although these are monochrome devices, they also have colour capabilities including colour scan, colour touch panel with colour thumbnails for greater visibility.

Features enabling optimum productivity include a print rate of up to 50ppm with the KM-5050 and the inclusion of a single-pass double-sided scanner to ensure fast scanning and copying. In addition, the monochrome A3 MFPs offer users direct printing of PDFs from USB devices. The series also has a new PDF expansion kit for PDF encryption and high compression for more flexible scanning options.

The KM-3050 / KM-4050 / KM-5050 are the first products to be equipped with Kyocera Mita’s new WiseCore technology. WiseCore is a single-chip architecture that allows multiple jobs to be processed simultaneously. It builds a common platform for all future Kyocera Mita products. Users can store print files, scanned documents and incoming faxes in document boxes on built-in hard disc drive with standard 40GB storage. This allows direct output without going through a PC.

Security is of great concern to any office using shared access. The KM-3050, KM-4050 and KM-5050 are all security-ready products, complete with data security kits this is an optional kit with common criteria and network authentication.
