Kyocera's new A4/A3 ECOSYS workgroup printer range brings compact, quite, quality printers to the market.

The printers offer speeds between 30 and 45 pages per minute(ppm) with standard duplex and networking capabilities, greatly increasing office productivity. A new shape-controlled toner technology ensures the excellent 1200dpi print quality of these Kyocera ECOSYS devices. The printers have long-life, excellent TCO, low noise and zero ozone emissions, which make them very relevant new products in the market. The Kycoera philosophy is to give the user space to think about other things.

Kyocera ECOSYS devices are designed to minimise maintenance, administration and consumables - achieving minimum running costs. The printer requires only the toner to be replaced. The printing drums use amorphous silicon, second only to diamonds in hardness, in combination with a new ceramic particle toner that continually polishes the drum. Kycoera has made toner particles more circular so that the images are clearer and don;t have moire patterns. The latest RFID-chip technology allows convenient monitoring of the toner level.

The FS-2000D is an economical A4 printer (30ppm) with optional network ability. It offers duplex printing as standard and handles a variety of paper sizes and weights.

The FS-3900DN is a mid-range network ready A4 workgroup printer, ready to operate in any demanding environment. This A4 workgroup printer provides increased speed and paper capacity and offers a network interface as standard.

With a speed of up to 45ppm, the FS-4000DN offers great performance at the top-end of the market and can accommodate additional memory and a hard disc for effective document management.

The FS-6950DN is an entry-level A3 printer for workgroups with 32ppm for A4 and 16ppm for A3. This flexible printer has a large paper capacity and is especially useful in CAD and DTP environments.

Ozone-free
As part of Kycoera's commitment to the environmental friendliness, this new generation of printers is ozone-free. In general, electrical charges in printers react with the oxygen in the air, creating ozone. With the adoption of the world's first positively charged roller, electrical charges aren't lost in the air, which means that no ozone is created.

Low-noise design
The new series is designed to minimise noise and distraction. The vents for the cooling fan have been moved to the rear. In sleep mode, the fan shuts off completely. Timing along the paper route has been tightened to minimise paper-feeding sounds. The entire device is constructed with special sound-trapping seams from top to bottom and on all sides.

Direct printing via USB
PDF files can be printed directly from USB storage devices. Office visitors can simply plug-in their USB stick and print their documents for meetings on site.
